Two East High Knights help lead the 1976 University of Puget Sound basketball team to a NCAA Division II National Championship.
Brant Gibler, EHS Class ’72 wore number 44 as a Logger.
Rick Walker, EHS Class ’74 wore number 54 as a Logger.
Brant and Rick played at East together in 1972 taking the team to the State AA championship game. They were runner up to Ellensburg High School.
